In the past 24 hours, there were 121 clashes as the enemy intensified efforts in the Pokrovsk and Kursk directions, according to the General Staff.

In the past 24 hours, on February 20, there were 121 battles on the front lines. The most intense pressure from Russian forces was observed in the Pokrovsk and Kursk directions.

This information was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

"During the past day, aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck eight areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, a command post, two electronic warfare stations, and ten artillery systems of the Russian invaders," the General Staff reports.

Situation in the Directions

In the Kharkiv direction, three attacks were repelled that the enemy launched towards Volchansk and Zakhidny.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces attacked seven times near Zahryzovo and Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman direction, five attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Yampolivka and Kolodyaziv.

In the Severodonetsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled two attacks near Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russians attempted to advance four times near Vasyukivka and Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk direction, ten attacks were repelled in the vicinity of Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russians launched 34 attacks near the settlements of Luch, Pokrovsk, Pyschane, Lisovka, Vodyane Druhe, and others.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, 12 enemy attacks were repelled.

In the Hulyaipole direction, the enemy attempted to advance three times in the areas of Novoselka and Novopole.

In the Orikhiv direction, occupation forces conducted five assaults on our troops' positions in the areas of Novoandriivka and Stepne.

In the Kursk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 29 enemy assaults.

Russian Losses in the War

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Russian Federation (RF) has lost over 864,000 units of personnel. Just in the past day, the losses amounted to 1,280 soldiers. Additionally, the Defense Forces destroyed:

• 12 tanks;
• 18 armored fighting vehicles;
• 52 artillery systems and more.
