On Valentine's Day, February 14, a touching and unexpected story unfolded in Nikopol - a man, who locals have already dubbed the "generous gentleman," decided not to limit his greetings to just one chosen lady, but to spread joy to all the women of Nikopol. His unusual act brought an atmosphere of warmth, joy, and, of course, romance to this February day. This was reported by "Vydomo" citing "Baza: Dnipro and the region".
Everything took place near one of the local shops. The man, whose name remains unknown for now, set up an improvised "flower kiosk" close to the entrance. Instead of a typical sales counter in this front-line city, he had only a bucket filled with flowers, and instead of a commercial offer—an altruistic desire to delight the fairer sex. In the bucket of water stood a lush bouquet of crimson roses—a classic symbol of love and passion, perfectly suited for Valentine's Day.
The man, dressed in simple yet clean clothes, attentively and with a smile handed each woman a single rose, accompanying his gesture with a short but heartfelt holiday greeting.
No one refused such a gift. Among those wishing to receive a rose from the generous giver were young girls, middle-aged women, and elderly ladies. However, the most touching moments came from the elderly women, who, upon receiving their flowers, sincerely thanked the man, unable to hide their emotions. Their eyes sparkled with happiness and gratitude— for many of them, this simple gesture became a real surprise and a bright highlight of the day.
This Valentine's Day will be remembered by the residents of Nikopol not only for romantic dates and gifts for loved ones but also for this extraordinary act of goodwill, demonstrating that even a small gesture can bring much joy and warmth.
