In Dnipro, a tender for the renovation of a sports school was rejected due to high material costs.

During a recent meeting of the working group "Transparency and Accountability" in Dnipro, the focus was on the tender for the renovation of a facility at one of the sports schools, as reported by "Vydomo".

Upon analyzing the tender, it became evident that the prices for materials proposed by the contractor significantly deviated from market rates. As a result, the client was advised to reconsider the procurement.

"The sports school planned to replace the surface in the yard, install canopies and gates, and set up washbasins and shower stalls. However, the cost of materials exceeded market prices by 89%. The client heeded the advice of the working group specialists and signed an additional agreement, reducing the tender amount," noted the director of the economic development department of the OVA, Yana Khudenko.
