In Dnipro, a teenager was rescued after feeling unwell following the consumption of two cans of an alcoholic energy drink. This was reported by Mark Bondik, a medic from the Novokodak emergency medical station, as conveyed by "Vidomo".
A critical call was received on "103" from a concerned woman: her 16-year-old son was experiencing vomiting, a headache, and was losing consciousness. Upon arriving at the specified address, the medics found the young man nearly unconscious.
The mother explained that her son had consumed two cans of REVO, after which he began to feel ill. The medics provided the necessary assistance to the teenager. Soon, the minor's condition improved, leading the mother to decline the offered hospitalization.
Medics warn that frequent consumption of energy drinks can destabilize the nervous system and lead to gastrointestinal disorders. Repeated overdoses may cause mental health issues.
In severe cases of energy drink overdose, instances of death due to heart failure have been reported.
