According to preliminary information, the driver of the Hyundai was traveling from Panikakha Street along Zaporizhzhia Highway towards Nauki Avenue. Near the crosswalk, the vehicle hit a woman who was crossing the road at the pedestrian crossing. The speed at which the driver was traveling is unknown, but the force of the impact threw the body 40 meters away from the crossing, and the car sustained significant damage.

Currently, the accident site near the pedestrian crossing is cordoned off with cones. The forensic medical examination team has arrived at the scene of the fatal accident.
