In Dnipro, nearly 4 million UAH is set to be spent on tree pruning and stump removal near schools.

In Dnipro, 3.7 million UAH is planned to be allocated for tree trimming and stump removal near schools. The corresponding tender has appeared on the public procurement site Prozorro, as reported by "Vidomo".

The service was ordered by the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Dnipro City Council.

The tender winner must complete the work on maintaining the area around educational institutions by September 1, 2025, which includes:

• cutting down approximately 419 cubic meters of hazardous trees;
• trimming 462 plants;
• performing the bucking of fallen trees totaling 37.33 cubic meters;
• removing 8 stumps;
• planting 6 trees – 2-meter tall thuja.

Additionally, among the requirements for the contractor is the availability of appropriate equipment and personnel – at least 10 workers to carry out the tasks near the schools.

The procurement was announced on January 29, 2025. Proposals will be accepted until February 6, and the contractor will be selected after February 7.
