Repairs just three months after its opening: the newly built Vienna platform in Dnipro is undergoing restoration (PHOTOS).

An unexpected story is unfolding at Cathedral Square in Dnipro, related to the recently installed Viennese platform. This was reported by "Vidomo," referencing "Informator".

This modern public transport stop, designed to provide convenience and an accessible environment for passengers, required urgent repairs just three months after its opening. The situation raises questions about the quality of construction work and oversight of its execution, to say the least.

The story began in September of this year, when the installation of the platform was completed as part of a large-scale reconstruction of Cathedral Square that started back in May. This structure, which features a raised tram stop level with the sidewalk, was marketed as a "model of modern urban infrastructure."

However, the festive atmosphere of the opening quickly gave way to disappointment. By December 24, just three months after the work was completed, significant defects were discovered—part of the tiled surface had collapsed, and one of the tiles even cracked.

On December 25, repair work began at the site of the damage. The area where the work is being conducted is cordoned off.
