В Днепропетровской области суд приговорил многодетного отца, который уклонился от мобилизации.

A high-profile court case related to mobilization in Dnipropetrovsk region has emerged. At the center of attention is a man, a father of three children, who received a summons and categorically refused to comply. The case, registered under number 193/68/25, was reviewed by the Sofiivskyi District Court of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. This was reported by "Vydomo".

In his testimony, the man fully admitted his guilt, expressing sincere remorse. In court, he justified his refusal to mobilize by citing a profound fear for his own life. He elaborated on his concerns regarding a lack of combat experience and unpreparedness for the extreme conditions of war. This emotional testimony became one of the key elements of the trial.

The court, taking into account all the circumstances of the case, including the defendant's three children, found him guilty under Article 336 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (evasion of military service during mobilization), which prescribes a penalty of imprisonment for up to three years. However, by applying the provisions of Article 75 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (exemption from serving the sentence), a decision was made to release the man from serving the imposed sentence with a probation period set at one year and ten months.

In other words, the convicted individual will be able to avoid imprisonment provided he maintains exemplary behavior and complies with all court requirements during the probation period.
