Adjusted strikes on Dnipro. The Security Service of Ukraine apprehended a traitorous lawyer attempting to flee abroad.
A well-known lawyer from Dnipro is suspected of working for enemy intelligence services. He was detained while attempting to escape abroad.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Counterintelligence officers and investigators of the SBU thwarted the escape of one of the most covert FSB agents in the Dnipropetrovsk region. It turned out to be a prominent local lawyer who was adjusting Russian missile strikes on Dnipro.
Law enforcement documented how the traitor adjusted a missile strike on a local company that modernizes and repairs strike and reconnaissance drones. He provided the FSB not just general coordinates of the enterprise, but precise locations of the technological workshops and drone storage facilities.
Later, the Russians struck his coordinates, resulting in the deaths of six individuals and leaving 30 Ukrainians severely wounded. Civil infrastructure facilities were also damaged in the attack.
According to the investigation, the traitor relayed information about the consequences of the shelling and sent coordinates for another strategic target in Dnipro for further strikes.
The agent communicated with his Russian handler through a "courier." This individual turned out to be a long-time acquaintance of the suspect, the so-called "first deputy head of the Krasnogvardeysk district administration in Crimea," who works for the FSB.
The lawyer was apprehended while trying to flee abroad at the "Krakovets" checkpoint. During searches of the detainee's home and office, mobile phones and SIM cards containing evidence of his subversive activities were confiscated.
The man has been charged under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 2 of Article 111 (high treason committed under martial law);
- Part 2 of Article 436-2 (justification, recognition of legitimacy, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
Currently, the perpetrator has been placed in custody as a preventive measure. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
