Полиция Белой Церкви сообщила новые детали о жестоком нападении на девочку.

A total of ten individuals involved in the case of the assault on a girl in Bila Tserkva have been identified. One of them has already been declared a suspect.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing Viktor Lugovoy, the head of the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police (GNUP) in Kyiv region, during a briefing.

Participants in the Conflict Identified

"We have identified 10 participants in the conflict. All their personal details have been established. Their identities have been confirmed. Investigative and procedural actions are being carried out with them," Lugovoy stated.

He added that the participants in the conflict are aged between 12 and 16. At the same time, the children are not considered perpetrators of a criminal offense. One of them, who is already 16 years old, has been declared a suspect. Currently, a hearing is taking place in the Bila Tserkva district court regarding the request for a preventive measure in the form of detention for the suspect.

Other children currently do not have any status and are considered participants in the events until all necessary investigative procedural actions are completed.

"Some may be witnesses. Some may be individuals who committed a socially dangerous act... But this will only be determined after all investigative actions have been completed. The fact that they are minors complicates the proceedings," explained the head of the investigative department of GNUP in Kyiv region.

The 16-year-old boy, who has been informed of the suspicion under part 2 of article 127 (torture) and part 4 of article 189 (extortion), faces up to 12 years in prison.

Children of Officials and Law Enforcement?

According to Lugovoy, there is currently information circulating online suggesting that the parents of the children may be officials or law enforcement officers; however, at this time, the pre-trial investigation authorities have no information regarding this.

"Yes, some are fighting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, defending our state. Some parents have died, some are working, and some are not working," he added.

Establishing Motives

As explained by the head of the investigative department of GNUP in Kyiv region, the investigation is currently determining the motives behind the criminal offense. In response to a question about whether the alleged reason for the conflict was drug distribution, Lugovoy stated that those facts are still under verification.

"But at this time, the investigative authorities have no information regarding the specific motive for the victim's drug use. Of course, if such facts are confirmed, there will be immediate, unquestionable, and alternative-free responses within the framework of current legislation," he noted.
