The court has chosen a preventive measure for the suspect in the case of the beating of a 12-year-old girl in Bila Tserkva. The suspect is a 16-year-old teenager.

On Wednesday, January 22, the Bila Tserkva court in the Kyiv region determined a preventive measure for the 16-year-old boy. The judge imposed a measure of detention without the right to bail.
The mother of the suspect stated that they would appeal the court's decision. There are five days to file an appeal.
It is worth noting that currently only one participant in the fight has been charged. The 16-year-old boy is suspected of torture and extortion of money during a state of martial law (Part 4 of Article 189, Part 1 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He faces up to 12 years in prison.
The police of the Kyiv region reported that law enforcement officers identified 10 participants in the conflict - these are children aged 12 to 16 years. As explained by the police, the children are not considered subjects capable of committing a criminal offense. Others do not have a status yet, pending the completion of all necessary investigative procedural actions.
Recall that recently a video of a girl being beaten by a group of teenagers circulated on social media. The mother of the victim contacted the police, a criminal case was opened.
According to the investigation, in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region, a group of teenagers gathered in a local park, where they invited the 12-year-old girl. The 16-year-old boy threatened the girl, struck her on the head, and sprayed pepper spray in her face. He also demanded 15 thousand hryvnias from her.
Subsequently, investigators reported suspicions against the oldest suspect - the 16-year-old boy.
