Днепр выделит 204 млн грн на электроэнергию для уличного освещения.

An auction for the procurement of electricity for street lighting took place in Dnipro, resulting in a decision to purchase electricity worth 204 million hryvnias. This decision has sparked significant public interest, especially considering that the winning bidder was LLC "Energoцентр Plus", which, according to media reports, has connections with well-known businessmen, the Dubinsky brothers. This was reported by "Vidomo".

The KP "Horsvet" plans to procure electricity until December 31, 2025. The final cost of electricity will be 8.4 hryvnias per kilowatt-hour, which is quite high compared to the offers from other auction participants.

In total, 24.3 megawatt-hours of electricity will be purchased.

During the auction, which attracted the attention of 15 companies, the final choice was narrowed down to four contenders. Among them was an offer from LLC "Naftogaz Ukraine," which proposed a lower price of 184 million hryvnias for similar supply volumes. Despite this, KP "Horsvet" opted for the more expensive offer from "Energoцентр Plus".

This decision raises questions about the transparency of the procurement process and the rationale behind choosing the supplier, especially in the context of economic instability and high electricity prices. The situation surrounding this contract highlights the importance of openness and competitiveness in government procurements.

Local residents and experts express concerns that such decisions may negatively impact the city's budget and lead to inefficient spending of budgetary resources. In light of rising energy resource prices and the need for modernization of urban infrastructure, it is crucial that such contracts are as beneficial as possible for the city and its residents.
