The State Border Guard Service reported that on January 11, soldiers from the Podilsk unit stopped a vehicle filled to capacity with men of conscription age near the state border, as conveyed by "Vedomo" citing the press service of the SBGSU.

The driver and his passengers intended to illegally cross the Transnistrian segment of the Ukrainian-Moldovan border. It was discovered that residents from Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa regions had contacted an organizer—an admin of one of the Telegram channels—to execute their illegal plan. The organizer cooperated with an accomplice—the driver, who was supposed to transport all passengers and remain in neighboring Moldova.

For assistance with online navigation, the organizer charged each interested individual between 7,000 to 10,000 US dollars to a crypto wallet. However, the border guards thwarted the violators' intentions.

A notification has been sent to the National Police regarding the driver's attempt to illegally transport individuals across the state border under Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Protocols have been drawn up against the 10 passengers for administrative offenses under Article 204-1 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, and the cases have been forwarded to the court.
