Adult snack: In Kryvyi Rih, salted lard with spices has been purchased for school students.

In Kryvyi Rih, the executive committee of the Saksahan district council has purchased over 600 kilograms of salted lard with spices for schoolchildren and preschoolers. This is the only district in the city making such a purchase. This information was reported by "Vidomo," referencing "Svoї. Kryvyi Rih".

The corresponding tender for 150,330 hryvnias has been posted in the Prozorro system.

It is noted that these funds are intended to acquire 664 kilograms of salted pork fat with spices.

It should be mentioned that the Ministry of Health advises replacing animal fats with vegetable fats in the diets of children's institutions. This means that heavy, unprocessed lard should be excluded. This is stated in the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Journalists have sought clarification on the rationale behind such a purchase from the executive committee, but a response has yet to be received.
