The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to January 17, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - approximately 815,820 (+1,670) eliminated;
  • tanks - 9,803 (+12) units;
  • armored fighting vehicles - 20,381 (+13) units;
  • artillery systems - 22,019 (+4) units;
  • MLRS - 1,262 units;
  • air defense systems - 1,046 units;
  • aircraft - 369 units;
  • helicopters - 331 units;
  • operational-tactical UAVs - 22,566 (+63) units;
  • cruise missiles - 3,049 units;
  • ships/boats - 28 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • automotive equipment and fuel tankers - 34,256 (+124) units;
  • special equipment - 3,699 (+2) units.

Frontline Situation and Russian Air Attacks

According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Defense Forces have achieved success in the Kursk region, but the Russians are applying pressure on five fronts in the Donetsk region.

Throughout the night, the aggressor once again attacked Ukraine with Shahed-type kamikaze drones.

In particular, the southern part of the Odesa region came under drone attack. Additionally, a child was injured in the Kyiv region due to falling drone debris.
