In the past day, nearly half of the battles occurred in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff.

As of 22:00 on January 13, there have been 155 combat encounters on the front lines. The situation in the Pokrovsk and Kursk directions remains tense, with the enemy concentrating its main offensive efforts there.

This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing a report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian Shelling

Over the course of January 13, the terrorist state carried out 41 airstrikes, dropping 62 KABs in the process. Additionally, the invaders deployed 684 kamikaze drones and conducted 3730 shellings against Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.

Situation on the Front Lines

In the Pokrovsk direction, throughout the day, the aggressor attacked our positions 74 times in the areas of the settlements Baranovka, Zelenoe Pole, Yelizavetovka, Tarasovka, Nova Poltava, Novotoretske, Lisovka, Myrnohrad, Zelenoe, Novy Trud, Luch, Pokrovsk, Shevchenko, Udachne, Novovasilivka, Uspenivka, Petropavlivka, Novoandriivka, Slavyanka, Serebryane, Andriivka, Kurakhove, Dachne, and Yantarne. Five combat encounters are still ongoing.

"According to preliminary estimates, today the occupiers in the Pokrovsk direction lost 218 soldiers killed and wounded. Our warriors destroyed two units of enemy vehicles and a motorcycle. Also, Ukrainian defenders inflicted significant damage on a multiple launch rocket system and a cannon," the report states.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue operations in the Kursk region, where our troops successfully repelled 11 enemy attacks.

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian terrorists launched two assaults on our units' positions near Volchansk.

Twice the enemy attacked our positions in the Kupiansk direction, near the settlements Lozova and Dvurechna. One combat encounter is still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, today Russian forces attacked Ukrainian defenders 15 times in the areas of the settlements Novosergiyivka, Zelenyi Hai, Shiykivka, Pervomaiske, Makeivka, Zarechne, and Terny. Two combat encounters are currently ongoing.

Our defenders repelled four enemy assaults in the area of Bilohorivka in the Severian direction. One combat encounter is still ongoing.

Ukrainian units repelled eleven attacks from the invaders in the Kramatorsk direction, where the enemy attempted to advance in the area of Chasovyi Yar and Stupochki. Currently, three combat encounters are ongoing.

In the Toretsk direction, our military repelled 16 enemy attacks in the areas of Bilya Hora, Krymske, and Toretsk, with 13 attacks halted by the Defense Forces, while three are still ongoing.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, our defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks. The enemy unsuccessfully attempted to break through near the settlements Razliv, Vremivka, Razdolne, Konstantinopol, and Neskuchne.

We remind you that throughout January 12, 160 combat engagements were recorded on the front. The most attacks occurred in the Pokrovsk direction, with 58 battles taking place there.
