In the past 24 hours, on January 8, there were 192 combat clashes along the front line. The enemy launched the most attacks in the Kursk region.
This is reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
"Over the past day, the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 11 areas of personnel concentration, weaponry, and military equipment, a command post, a drone control point, two warehouses, and seven other significant enemy targets," the General Staff writes.
In the Kharkiv direction, the Russians attacked four times around Volchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 12 attacks near Golubovka, Zahryzovo, and towards Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched 17 attacks near Nadezhda, Kopanky, Novoegorivka, Ivanivka, and Ternov.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy advanced twice in the area of Bilohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked three times near the settlement of Belya Gora.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy conducted six attacks near the settlements of Toretsk and Diliivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, 42 assault actions of the aggressor were repelled near the settlements of Myrolyubivka, Baranivka, Yelizavetivka, and beyond.
In the Kurakhove direction, the Russians attacked 38 times in the areas of Dachne, Kurakhovo, Shevchenko, Petropavlivka, Slovyanka, and Yasenove.
In the Vremivka direction, 16 attacks were repelled in the areas of Novoselky, Konstantinopolske, Yantarny, and towards Konstantinopole.
In the Dnipro direction, the enemy attacked three times.
In the Kursk region, the Defense Forces repelled 48 attacks from the invaders, and the clashes continue.
