Overall combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to January 8, 2025, are estimated to be:

  • personnel - approximately 801,670 (+1,660) eliminated;
  • tanks - 9,714 (+4) units;
  • armored combat vehicles - 20,205 (+16) units;
  • artillery systems - 21,729 (+19) units;
  • MLRS - 1,260 units;
  • air defense systems - 1,038 units;
  • aircraft - 369 units;
  • helicopters - 331 units;
  • operational-tactical level UAVs - 21,727 (+19) units;
  • cruise missiles - 3,014 units;
  • ships/boats - 28 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • automotive equipment and fuel tankers - 33,307 (+81) units;
  • special equipment - 3,681 units.

Situation on the Front and Shelling by the RF

According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Defense Forces have advanced in the Kursk region, but the invaders are pushing on four fronts in eastern Ukraine.

At night, the Russians launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine using "Shahed" kamikaze drones.

In the Kyiv region, air defense forces were engaged against enemy drones.
