Enemy "Shahed" drones damaged a utility company in the Cherkasy region.

Last night, Russian strike drones targeted the Cherkasy region. In the Uman district, the drones damaged a municipal enterprise.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the head of the Cherkasy regional military administration Igor Taburets and the mayor of Uman Irina Pletneva.

Taburets noted that air defense forces were active in the region during the night. However, enemy attacks had consequences for the Uman district.

All services are working to stabilize the situation in the municipal sector as quickly as possible.

"A headquarters has been set up on-site to coordinate actions to eliminate the consequences of the emergency. The most important thing is that people are safe. We will manage the rest," Taburets emphasized.

Mayor of Uman Irina Pletneva reported that energy workers are working to restore electricity in the city.

"Umanvodokanal is operating on generators, water is being supplied to homes, and sewage systems are functioning. Uman Teplokommunenergo is working on restoring heating to your homes," she wrote on her Facebook.

Monitoring channels reported that at 02:41 AM in Uman, electricity partially went out following explosions.

Massive Attack by Russian Strike Drones

On the night of January 28, Russian terrorists launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine using Shahed-type kamikaze drones.

In Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region, several impacts and debris falls were recorded. Fires broke out, and there are casualties.

Additionally, due to UAVs, homes were damaged and fires erupted in Odessa.

Explosions were also heard in Chernihiv during the night. As a result, a private house was damaged by falling debris from a "Shahed."
