Russian forces are advancing near Pokrovsk, Chasovoy Yar, and beyond: a frontline report.

In the past 24 hours, 174 combat engagements have been recorded at the front. Russian forces continue to exert pressure near Pokrovsk, in Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, and beyond.

This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Over the last day, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck two areas where personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated, as well as two air defense systems of the Russian invaders.

Situation on the fronts:

On the Kharkiv direction, the enemy made one unsuccessful attempt to advance in the Volchansk area.

In the Kupyansk direction, there were eight attacks by the occupiers over the past day. Defense forces repelled the enemy's assault actions near the settlements of Holubivka, Stepna Novoselivka, and Kruglyakovka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 13 times, trying to advance near Kopanky, Tverdokhlebovo, Makeevka, and Ternovy.

On the Seversk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled an enemy attack near the settlement of Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy conducted 26 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the Chasiv Yar area and towards Stupochky and Belyi Hora.

Over the past day, in the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian units 19 times near Toretsk, Dylivka, Krymske, and Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, during the past day, defenders stopped 79 assault actions by the aggressor in the areas of Zeleny Pole, Vodyane Vtore, Yelyzavetivka, Luch, Lisovka, Shevchenko, Zvezdny, Udachny, Uspenivka, Serebryany, Dachny, Ulaklov, and Yantarny.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks by the invaders in the area of Bolshaya Novoselka and Konstantinopol.

In the Orikhiv direction, yesterday the enemy made one attempt to advance towards Novodanilivka but was repelled.

In the Dniprovsk direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled two enemy assaults.

In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy did not carry out any active operations.

In the Kursk region, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 16 attacks by the invaders over the past day.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.

Situation at the front

It is worth noting that Pokrovsk is currently one of the key defense points in eastern Ukraine. Defense forces report that the occupiers are attempting to encircle the city.

According to OSHV "Khortytsia", the Russians aim to encircle Pokrovsk and are trying to approach the outskirts of the city.

Additionally, urban battles are ongoing in Chasiv Yar and Toretsk. The Russians are also trying to push the Armed Forces of Ukraine out of the Kursk region.
