Military sources revealed that Russian forces are concentrating their efforts along the Pokrovsk-Pavlograd route.

Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Sergey Tsekhotsky reported that Russian forces are attempting to approach Pokrovsk and encircle it by cutting off logistical routes. Tsekhotsky shared this information during a telethon on "Unified News," as conveyed by "Vydomo."

"Currently, the enemy is concentrating efforts south of Pokrovsk, parallel to the Pokrovsk-Pavlograd highway. We are keeping the situation under control and will eliminate the enemy as long as necessary. On New Year's Eve, a significant number of occupiers were neutralized specifically in the Pokrovsk direction ," he stated.

Furthermore, the military official noted that Russian troops are aiming to reach the Pavlograd-Pokrovsk highway to force the Ukrainian garrison to abandon their positions. However, Ukrainian soldiers continue to maintain a firm grip on the situation and are prepared for further actions in the event of escalation.
