The military showcased tests of the robotic platform "Volya-E." This invention is intended for the evacuation of the wounded from the battlefield.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the operational-strategic group of troops "Khortytsia".

"In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group of troops 'Khortytsia,' tests of the logistics-evacuation platform were conducted," the military noted.

They highlighted that the platform was acquired by the Norwegian charity fund HMM Helsehjelp Ukraina. This charitable organization raised and sent transportation and rescue equipment to Ukraine worth approximately 150 million Norwegian kroner.

Purpose of the Robotic Platform "Volya-E"

The primary purpose of the robotic platform with its telling name "Volya-E" is to transport the wounded to an evacuation point where medical evacuation will be waiting.

"In combat conditions, where every second counts, such ground drones become literal lifelines that help save our warriors' lives," emphasized those in "Khortytsia."

As noted by Colonel of the medical service Konstantin Kyschuk, deputy head of the military medical center of the OCP OSUV "Khortytsia," certain improvements for the robotic platform emerged after the tests. These have been summarized and forwarded to the manufacturers for further modernization of "Volya-E."

It is worth reminding that in May of last year, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, along with the Ministry of Strategic Industries and the General Staff, conducted tests of robotic technology designed for evacuation from the battlefield.
