Military personnel can now purchase railway tickets from a special reserve for the military directly from their smartphones. To do this, the "Army+" app must be installed.

This is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Ukrzaliznytsia" was the first to join the military support service "Pluses" from "Army+". As a result, servicemen can buy tickets online that are exclusively available to them.

How It Works

  • Open the "Army+" app.
  • Purchase up to 4 tickets simultaneously from the special reserve.
  • Select trains departing from or arriving at cities close to the combat zone.
  • During the search, all available seats on suitable routes will be displayed.

Important Details

Tickets from the special reserve are available from 5 days to 6 hours before the train's departure from the starting station.

"Make sure to save your ticket: take a screenshot or send it to your email, as it will not be saved due to data protection," noted the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

How to Buy UZ Tickets

In general, tickets for UZ trains can be purchased "physically" at ticket counters at railway stations, as well as remotely - online.

In August 2022, a special app called Ukrainska Zaliznytsia was launched for the convenience of passengers, available to all users on the App Store and Google Play Market.

In May 2024, it became known that JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" launched an updated website for purchasing railway tickets for any train. The web version of the service offers an extended and user-friendly functionality, including account verification through "Diia.Pidpis".

Additionally, UZ has started selling tickets for the children's railway in Kyiv online via chatbots in Viber and Telegram.

Recently, it was announced that a new program "Pluses" has been launched in the "Army+" app. It particularly offers a special ticket reserve from "Ukrzaliznytsia" for military personnel.
