In Ukraine, soldiers with combat experience can now obtain officer ranks more easily, according to President Zelensky.

The Ukrainian authorities have decided to simplify the process for soldiers and sergeants with combat experience to obtain officer ranks.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the evening address of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Today, there is a decision that helps our army become more modern and implement the defense experience gained during this war. We have simplified the process for soldiers and sergeants with combat experience to receive officer ranks," Zelensky stated.

According to the president, this provides the right social mobility for the army.

As a reminder, we previously reported that the Ministry of Defense is introducing a new, simplified training format and procedure for obtaining officer ranks for mobilized medical personnel.
