In the heart of Dnipro, plans are underway to narrow three streets and close off sidewalks for a period of three years.

The discussion concerns Ukrainian Volunteer Army Street, Patorzhynskoho Street, and Shevchenko Lane. This decision is linked to the construction of a multifunctional residential complex. This information was reported by "Vidomo," referencing a draft resolution from the executive committee of the Dnipro City Council.

Thus, from January 11, 2025, to January 11, 2028, sidewalks may be closed, and traffic lanes may be narrowed in the following areas:

• Patorzhynskoho Street: from Ukrainian Volunteer Army Street to Shevchenko Lane;
• Ukrainian Volunteer Army Street: from Patorzhynskoho Street to house No. 4 on Shevchenko Lane;
• Shevchenko Lane: from Patorzhynskoho Street to house No. 4 on Shevchenko Lane.

A fence with signal lighting and temporary road signs should be installed around the construction zone. Additionally, safe pedestrian detours and a temporary traffic scheme must be provided.

However, it should be noted that this document has not yet been approved, so it is not currently in effect.
