In the Pokrovsk area, the Ukrainian Armed Forces thwarted nearly 100 enemy attacks within a single day, highlighting the current front-line situation.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces halted nearly 100 enemy attacks in a 24-hour period near Pokrovsk. A total of 199 combat engagements were recorded at the front.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing a report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck eight areas of enemy personnel, weapons, military equipment, two air defense stations, one command post, one fuel and lubricants depot, one electronic warfare station, and six other significant targets of the enemy.
Situation in the directions:
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy launched six assaults on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Volchansk.
The Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault actions near Petropavlivka, Lozova, and Pyschane in the Kupiansk direction, where nine attacks by the occupiers occurred during the day.
In the past day, the enemy attacked 11 times in the Lyman direction. They attempted to break through the defenses near the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Pervomaiske, Kopanka, Novoehorivka, Novosadove, Novolyubivka, and Zarechne.
Seversk direction: the enemy stormed positions near Bilohorivka once but achieved no success.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers launched 11 attacks in the areas of Stupochky, Predtechyne, and Chasiv Yar.
The enemy carried out 20 attacks in the Toretsk direction in the areas of Toretsk, Krymske, and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 98 offensive actions by the aggressor towards the settlements of Vodyane Druhe, Zelenе Pole, Malynivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Zverovo, Udachne, Novoandriivka, Yelyzavetivka, Luch, Lisovka, Zelenе, Shevchenko, Uspenivka, Slavyanka, Andriivka, Dachne, Ulakly, and Yantarnе.
The Defense Forces repelled 19 enemy attacks in the Novopavlivsk direction. The occupiers were most active in trying to advance near Velika Novosilka.
No combat engagements occurred in the Huliaipole direction over the past day.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders once towards Novodanylivka.
In the Dniprovsk direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces halted two enemy assaults.
Over the past day, in the Kursk direction, there were 12 combat engagements, the enemy carried out five airstrikes with guided bombs and conducted 464 artillery shellings, including 18 from multiple launch rocket systems.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
Russian Losses
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day Ukrainian forces eliminated 1,580 occupiers at the front. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has already lost 818,000 soldiers.
The Ministry of Defense reported that last year, Russians suffered record losses - 430,790 soldiers. This number corresponds to nearly 36 motorized rifle divisions.
