New meals will be tested on trains crossing the Dnipro River.

Passengers on the Zaporizhzhia – Uzhhorod route, which passes through Dnipro, can now sample the new menu.

In a number of trains operated by Ukrzaliznytsia, a full lunch menu developed by Ukrainian chef Yevhen Klopotenko has been launched in test mode. This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia, as conveyed by "Vidomo".

"The menu of hot dishes on long-distance trains has been one of the most anticipated updates in the service of Ukrzaliznytsia. Starting this week, we are beginning to test quality food on some of the longest routes," – the company stated.

Specifically, this applies to trains No. 351/352 Kyiv – Chișinău, No. 95/96 Kyiv – Rakhiv, No. 29/30 Kyiv – Uzhhorod, and No. 4/3 Zaporizhzhia – Uzhhorod.

It is noted that the dishes are prepared and frozen using an innovative method that ensures the freshness of the ingredients and helps retain flavor after reheating.

The menu features the following dishes:

Carpathian draniki;
omelet made from Zhytomyr eggs;
chicken with Podolian potatoes and vegetables;
Crimean Tatar pilaf with beef.

The prices for the dishes range from 170 to 190 UAH.
