In one of the neighborhoods of Dnipro, a raccoon was captured on the street.

On Wednesday, December 25, an unusual incident occurred on Yarkaya Street (formerly Tverskaya) in the Industrial District of the city. A confused raccoon was spotted running down the street. This was reported in the Facebook community "Rayonchik," as conveyed by "Vidomo."

The author of the post, Margarita, shared that the raccoon was skillfully heading towards the "ATB" supermarket. However, it remains unclear how the animal ended up in such a large city.

In the comments to the post, locals noted that the raccoon was successfully captured by specialists from the mobile veterinary service "Zoocontrol," who specialize in the rescue of stray animals and their return to suitable habitats.

Additionally, commentators speculated that the animal might be domesticated, as a man has been seen multiple times in the city accompanied by a raccoon.
