In the Cherkasy region, the approach to announcing air alerts has been revised. This change aims to enhance the operations of enterprises and organizations.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the head of the Cherkasy regional military administration, Ihor Taburets, on Telegram.
"Considering the frequency and duration of air alerts in our region, and to ensure the uninterrupted operation of enterprises, institutions, and organizations, we are launching a pilot project in the region starting today," he stated.
According to him, the algorithms have been developed in collaboration with relevant services and the military.
The head of the Cherkasy regional military administration explained that during drone attacks, air alerts will be activated by districts. This means that a specific district in the Cherkasy region will receive the signal where a target is identified or there is a potential threat, particularly from air defense operations.
In the event of missile threats, air alerts will be activated without changes—across the entire region simultaneously.
