A pair of young white swans was spotted on the Inhulets River near the village of Vsebratske in Kryvyi Rih, as reported by "Vidomo" referencing the Facebook community "Nature of Kryvorizhzhia".
The birds capture the attention of locals with their gentle affection for one another.
"A pair of young swans on the Inhulets River near the village of Vsebratske. The birds are almost tame," the publication noted.
White swans are quite monogamous creatures. They form a pair for life, and if one partner dies, the other does not seek a new mate.
The swans care for their cygnets together for a year after their birth.
It is worth noting that while it is delightful to admire the swans, feeding them bread is strictly prohibited. Such food is dangerous for wild waterfowl and can cause serious health issues for the birds.
