On Wednesday, January 1, a woman died and a man was injured in a fire in Kryvyi Rih. This was reported by "Vydomo" citing the State Emergency Service in Dnipropetrovsk region.
In the afternoon, the emergency service "101" received a report about a house fire located on Myroslava Skoryka Street in the Metallurgical District of Kryvyi Rih.
In a room of the residential building, belongings were burning over an area of 30 square meters.
While extinguishing the fire, emergency responders discovered the body of a 67-year-old woman inside the residence.
Additionally, a 30-year-old man was hospitalized from the scene with preliminary diagnoses of hand and back injuries.
The fire has been extinguished.
The causes of the fire are being investigated.
