On the night of January 27, enemy drones were detected in the Kyiv region. Air defense forces are shooting them down.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraina citing the Telegram channel of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration (KOVA).
"Kyiv region! UAVs have been detected in the airspace. Air defense forces are engaging targets," the message stated at 00:25.
Ukrainians were also urged to ensure their own safety and remain in shelters until the end of the air raid alert.
Additionally, they were advised to maintain information silence - not to record or post online the activities of Ukrainian defenders.
As of 00:36, the air raid alert map looks like this. As can be seen, the alert continues in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions.
Recall that on the night of December 26, Russians attacked Kharkiv using strike drones. As a result of the attack, a private house was damaged, specifically: windows, roof, and part of the building.
At the same time, the city's mayor, Igor Terekhov, added that there was no information on casualties.
