Late in the evening on January 18, Russians once again attempted to attack the Kyiv region with drones. Air defense forces are intercepting enemy targets.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration (KOVA).
"Kyiv region! Movement of enemy UAVs has been detected! Air defense forces are active in the region," the message stated at 23:36.
Ukrainians are urged not to photograph or film the actions of Ukrainian defenders. Additionally, they are advised to adhere to safety rules and remain in shelters until the air raid alert is over.
As of 23:45, the air raid alert continues in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, partially in Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Recall that a couple of hours ago, an alert was declared in Kyiv and several regions. The reason was the threat of ballistic weapon use from the Kursk region towards those areas where the alert was sounded.
In addition, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that high-speed targets were heading towards Myrhorod and Kryvyi Rih.
