In Kyiv, debris was reported to have fallen during a missile attack on December 31. An air alert continues in the capital.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the press service of KGVA.

"As a result of the missile strike on Kyiv, debris has preliminarily been recorded falling in the Darnytsia district of the capital," the statement said.

According to information that is being verified, the debris fell on the roof of a private building. There are no fires or destruction reported. No information on casualties has been received, the press service added.

"The air alert continues. Stay in shelters," the KGVA warned.

Missile Attack on December 31

Recall that in the morning of December 31, a large-scale air alert was declared in Ukraine. Additionally, the threat from ballistic missiles has emerged alongside drone and missile dangers.

The Air Force reported the detection of a Russian missile heading towards Vasylkiv. Subsequently, a fast-moving target was reported in the Sumy region, moving southwest.

The Air Force also announced the takeoff of a MiG-31K aircraft from the Savasleyka airfield, which is a carrier of "Kinzhal" missiles.

Christmas Shelling
