Late in the evening on February 26, a series of explosions rocked Kyiv. At that time, the enemy was attacking the capital with strike drones.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Telegram "Suspilne Novyny".
"Explosions are heard in Kyiv, reported Suspilne correspondents," the message stated at 11:50 PM.
Local channels are informing about the operation of air defense systems. It should be noted that an air raid alert was declared in the capital less than an hour ago, and even earlier in several other regions of Ukraine. The alert was triggered by enemy UAVs.
In particular, the Kyiv City Military Administration warned about the threat of drones, and the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported UAVs heading towards Kyiv. Meanwhile, in the Kyiv region, air defense forces were active amid the detection of drones.
As of 11:58 PM, the air raid alert continues in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, and Donetsk regions.
We remind you that in Kharkiv, during the attack of enemy drones last night, three impacts were recorded in two districts of the city - the Kyiv and Shevchenkivskyi districts. One of the drones hit a multi-story building, resulting in casualties.
