On the night of January 15, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv and several regions. The alert was triggered by enemy drones that were detected in the airspace of Ukraine.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the Telegram channel of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The alert in Kyiv was issued at 00:48. In other regions, alerts were declared earlier. The military also clarified the reason.
"Attention! City of Kyiv, city of Brovary! Enemy strike drones are heading your way from the northeast," the message states.
Minutes later, the new head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко, confirmed the information, noting that the alert is related to Russian drones near Kyiv.
