An alert has been issued in Kyiv and several regions due to drone activity.

On the night of January 15, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv and several regions. The alert was triggered by enemy drones that were detected in the airspace of Ukraine.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the Telegram channel of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The alert in Kyiv was issued at 00:48. In other regions, alerts were declared earlier. The military also clarified the reason.

"Attention! City of Kyiv, city of Brovary! Enemy strike drones are heading your way from the northeast," the message states.

Minutes later, the new head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко, confirmed the information, noting that the alert is related to Russian drones near Kyiv.

The Air Forces updated information on the movement of enemy strike drones. It is currently reported that:

• Drones in the east and south of the Sumy region are heading southwest/southeast;
• Drones in the south of the Chernihiv region are heading southwest;
• Drones in the northwest of the Kharkiv region are heading northeast and southeast;
• Drones in the north of the Kyiv region are heading north.

As of 00:58, the air raid alert continues in the Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

We remind you that yesterday, on the night of January 14, starting from the evening of the 13th, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 80 drones, including strike drones of the Shahed type and imitation drones. By morning, the air defense forces had already shot down 58 of them, and another 21 were locally lost.
