On February 16, around 03:10, a fire broke out in an apartment on the Eastern Quarter of the city of Marganets in the Nikopol district, as reported by "Vідомо," citing the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Region.

A 74-year-old woman sustained injuries during the fire. She was taken to the hospital with a preliminary diagnosis of poisoning from combustion products.

Rescuers extinguished the flames in the apartment on the first floor of the high-rise building, which had already damaged household belongings over an area of 30 square meters.

Nine rescuers and three units of fire and rescue equipment from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the region were involved in extinguishing the blaze.

Earlier, we reported that the body of a man was found in the Kryvyi Rih district during firefighting efforts.
