In the Synelnykove district, a man killed a guest out of jealousy, reports "Vydomo," citing the police of Dnipropetrovsk region.
During a gathering, the aggressor became jealous of his partner's attention towards the guest. An argument ensued between the men, during which the suspect fatally beat the victim.
On February 18, a distressed woman contacted the police to report her son missing. In response, the law enforcement agency of the Synelnykove district launched a criminal investigation and began searching for the 28-year-old man.
Several days later, police discovered the body of the missing local resident in the basement of a house in the village of Slavgorod in the Synelnykove area. It was determined that the homeowner had inflicted multiple injuries on the victim, leading to his death. To conceal the crime, the suspect hid the man's body in the basement of the property.
Based on the evidence collected, investigators, in coordination with the Synelnykove District Prosecutor's Office, informed the suspect of his charges under Part 1 of Article 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and selected a preventive measure - detention. For the crime committed, the man faces up to 15 years in prison.
