In the Dnipropetrovsk region, another tender was canceled, which could have led to unnecessary spending of budget funds, reports "Vydomo".
During a meeting of the working group on "Transparency and Accountability" at the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, the focus was on a tender for the renovation of a hospital in the city of Samara. A thorough analysis of the procurement revealed that the prices for materials intended for the renovation were inflated.
The customer was informed about this, and he signed an additional agreement with the contractor. As a result, it was possible to save 6 million UAH of budget funds.
"We are preventing the irrational use of budget funds. Monitoring allows us to identify tenders with deficiencies. More often than not, we find inflated prices compared to market rates. In such cases, we communicate with the customer and recommend making corrections," noted the director of the economic development department of the Regional State Administration, Yana Khudenko.
