In Dnipro, a pensioner was rescued from a fire.

On January 6, around midnight, a fire broke out in an apartment of a nine-story residential building on 20th Anniversary of Victory Street in the Samarsky district of Dnipro, as reported by "Vідомо," referencing the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

During the firefighting efforts on the third floor of the building, rescuers found a 63-year-old man. The victim was carried outside and handed over to medical personnel. The rescued individual has been hospitalized.

The emergency services extinguished the flames that engulfed the apartment's belongings over an area of 10 square meters.

A total of 11 rescuers and three units of firefighting and rescue equipment from the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the region were involved in the fire extinguishing efforts.
