The Christmas tree markets in Dnipro have concluded their operations, and inspectors are currently checking them for compliance with landscaping regulations, reports "VidoMo" citing the Dniprovskyi City Council.
Entrepreneurs are required to independently remove the remaining unsold trees to landfills, where they will be processed into pallets for kindling. They must also restore the nearby area to an acceptable condition.
If violations of the city's landscaping rules are found, entrepreneurs will face fines ranging from 350 to 1700 hryvnias, depending on whether the offender is an individual, a legal entity, or an individual entrepreneur.
It is noted that within the first two days of the new year, 50 out of 117 sales points have already been inspected. So far, no violations of landscaping rules have been identified.
