This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the police of Cherkassy region.

According to the police, the shooting took place near the park on Victory Avenue in Cherkassy.

"Preliminarily, there are injured individuals," the law enforcement officials added.

According to their data, police and medical personnel are currently working at the scene.

"The identity of the perpetrator has been established and detained by the police. The issue of legal qualification of the incident is being resolved. Details will follow," the police added.
