The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, has appointed former Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Restoration, Minister of Community Development, and Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov as his advisor. This was reported on Umerov's Facebook page, as conveyed by "Vydomo."

"I have appointed Alexander Kubrakov as my advisor on a voluntary basis. His experience in positions such as Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure, and Head of 'Ukravtodor' is significant and will aid in improving the supply and logistics system within the Armed Forces of Ukraine. I am confident that his state and practical experience will enhance the efficiency of defense processes and strengthen our defense capabilities," the statement reads.

It is known that Kubrakov was dismissed from his position in May 2024.

Kubrakov was born in Dnipropetrovsk region, in the city of Pervomaisk. On May 20, 2021, he was appointed Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine and also led 'Ukravtodor.'
