Nearly 60 drones attacked Ukraine, prompting air defense operations across seven regions.

On the night of January 24, Russia launched 58 drones at Ukraine. Air defense systems were active in seven regions of Ukraine.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

The launches were carried out from four locations in Russia: Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

The air defense forces destroyed 25 drones. Air defense operations took place in Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Lviv regions.

An additional 27 enemy drone decoys were lost locally (without negative consequences).

Consequences of the Russian Attack

According to the Air Forces, as a result of the enemy strike, people were injured in Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, with fatalities reported. Residential buildings and vehicles were damaged.

As previously reported, in Kyiv region, debris from enemy drones fell in two districts. Houses were damaged, and in the city of Hlevakha, a multi-storey building caught fire.

It is known that three people were killed in Kyiv region as a result of the attack.

Additionally, in one of the villages of Lviv district, due to the falling debris of a "Shahed," a residential building was damaged: windows and doors were shattered, and a crater with a diameter of 4 meters formed nearby. Preliminary reports indicate that there were no casualties or injuries.
