Russia continues to trade in stolen Ukrainian grain. Ukraine intends to take appropriate stringent measures against the countries that purchase it.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing the Facebook page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
"Russia continues to trade in stolen Ukrainian grain. Anyone who accepts it is an accomplice to the theft. We are monitoring every relevant movement and action. We have issued protest notes to the appropriate parties, warning them of the consequences of such illegal activities," said Sibiga.
According to him, Ukraine has information confirming the origin of the grain and the routes of its transportation from temporarily occupied Ukrainian ports.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will also officially inform the International Maritime Organization that Russian vessels are turning off their transponders.
"If these illegal actions continue, we will take strict measures, particularly utilizing all available political, economic, and legal tools. Consequently, severe sanctions may be imposed on all involved vessels, companies, and organizations. It is time to put an end to this daylight theft," emphasized Sibiga.
As a reminder, earlier the Center for National Resistance reported that in the temporarily occupied Mariupol, Russians have begun construction of a large agricultural market. However, in reality, this will be a center for the disposal of stolen Ukrainian property.
It is also known that Russia exports grain from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to Iran.
