The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has signed a decree extending the visa-free regime for citizens of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. This will remain in effect until January 30, 2026.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing the relevant decree from the head of state.
"To extend the visa-free entry into Ukraine and the transit passage through the territory of Ukraine for citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, provided that their stay in Ukraine does not exceed 90 days within a 180-day period, until January 30, 2026," the document states.
The decree takes effect from the date of its publication.
Recall that President Volodymyr Zelensky introduced visa-free travel for British citizens in January 2020, which is renewed annually "to promote and practically implement the principles of partnership between Ukraine and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland."
