Трамп выступил с резким заявлением, угрожая Зеленскому.

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, is dissatisfied with the lack of presidential elections in Ukraine during the war. The American leader referred to President Volodymyr Zelensky as a "dictator without elections."

As reported by RBK-Ukraine, Trump made this statement on Truth Social.

"Just think about it, the modestly successful comedian Volodymyr Zelensky convinced the United States to spend $350 billion on a war that cannot be won, a war that should never have started, but one that he will never be able to resolve without the U.S. and 'Trump'," wrote the U.S. president.

The American leader claims that the U.S. has allegedly spent $200 billion more on aid to Ukraine than Europe. He stated that European funds "were backed by guarantees," while the U.S. "will get nothing back."

According to Trump, Russia's war against Ukraine is "much more important for Europe" than for the U.S., as there is an ocean separating American and Russian territories.

"On top of everything, Zelensky admits that half of the money we sent him has 'disappeared.' He is refusing elections, has very low standings in Ukrainian polls, and the only thing he’s good at is playing with Biden (the 46th president of the U.S., Joe Biden - ed.) 'like a violin.' A dictator without elections, Zelensky needs to act quickly, or he will have no country left," the U.S. president wrote.

Trump believes that the U.S. has already been successfully negotiating with Russia to end the war, while "Biden never tried, and Europe failed to achieve peace."

"I love Ukraine, but Zelensky has done a terrible job; his country is devastated, and millions of people have died unnecessarily - and it continues," the American leader added.

Trump's Attacks

It is noteworthy that after the meeting between American officials and Russians in Saudi Arabia, which took place yesterday, February 18, many of Trump's messages are closely aligned with Russian propaganda, as well as claims made by Kremlin head Vladimir Putin regarding the "illegitimacy" of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

In particular, U.S. President Donald Trump asserted that support for Zelensky among Ukrainians is "4%". His controversial statements also pertained to the amount of aid sent to Ukraine from the U.S.

In response, the Ukrainian leader emphasized that such remarks about ratings are disinformation spread by Russia. He also promised to request trust ratings for leaders from various countries, including Ukraine, from sociological platforms in the coming weeks.

It is important to note that sociological surveys in Ukraine still show a high level of trust in Zelensky. According to the latest survey, 57% of Ukrainians trust the president.
