The "Steel Front" initiative led by Rinat Akhmetov has provided the 12th Special Purpose Brigade "Azov" with a set of medical equipment that will enable the establishment of a full-fledged field hospital in the combat zone.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the press service of the initiative.

The delivered equipment includes HAMILTON-T1 ventilators, a portable ultrasound machine Venue Go, a mobile operating table, infusion pumps, blood transfusion kits, and more.

This list can be referred to as the "gold standard" for a military operating room, covering a broad range of emergency needs and ensuring autonomous operation without significant support from the rear.

Additionally, the delivered equipment includes supplies for the ambulance: ventilators and ultrasound machines, aspirators, and vital signs monitors.

"Here, the equipment for the operating room and ambulance includes everything necessary to perform surgeries efficiently and quickly in any conditions and save the lives of our defenders. We are passing this on with immense gratitude to the fighters who protect the country," commented Ksenia Sukhova, a representative of the "Steel Front".

The equipment addresses the needs for providing emergency assistance in life-threatening injuries common in combat situations: wounds, bleeding, blast injuries, burns, fractures, and chest injuries. It is a "rapid response" set that allows for the stabilization of the wounded, saving lives, and preparing for further evacuation to the rear.

"The received equipment will significantly enhance our capabilities for providing medical assistance in field conditions. We are grateful for the support that saves the lives of our comrades," added Ivan Ignatiev, the logistics chief of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade "Azov".

As is known, throughout 2024, the brigade's fighters have been carrying out missions in the most challenging areas of the front, particularly in the Lyman and Toretsk directions.
