As of January 2025, 51% of Ukrainians trust President Volodymyr Zelensky. This figure may rise in February, considering the changing political landscape.

This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing a survey conducted by Ino Sapiens.

Sociologists note that Zelensky's trust rating has decreased from nearly 90% at the onset of the invasion, yet it still hovers around half of those surveyed.

"Could it reach 57% in February, as indicated by the KMIS data? Yes, it certainly could. Our February data will be available in just a few days, but trust levels in surveys continually fluctuate in response to surrounding events," the report states.

It is also important to consider a margin of error of up to 3%.

"Overall, our data aligns with KMIS, and taking into account the shifts in foreign policy, it can be assumed that trust in Zelensky has increased in February," Ino Sapiens added.

Sociologists emphasized that the trust rating does not directly translate into presidential approval ratings. "We are not currently publishing presidential ratings, as elections are not held during wartime, the election date has not been set, and the ratings in surveys are heavily influenced by the list of included individuals – but it remains unclear who exactly plans to run," the report mentions.

Zelensky's Ratings and Trump's Statements

Recently, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KMIS) released data from a February 2025 study, indicating that Zelensky's trust rating rose to 57% compared to 52% in December 2024.

This change followed U.S. President Donald Trump's claim that Volodymyr Zelensky's rating allegedly stands at 4%.

Additionally, KMIS Director Vladimir Paniotto disclosed data from American studies, showing that Trump's approval rating in the U.S. is lower than Zelensky's in Ukraine. His approval fluctuates between 47-52%, which is the lowest for a U.S. president since 1996.

Trump's statements sparked outrage in Ukraine and around the world, leading to numerous supportive publications. Zelensky thanked everyone for their support on February 19.
