How many Russian "Shaheds" have entered Belarus in a year: data from "Hayun."

In 2024, nearly four hundred Russian kamikaze drones of the "Shahed" type entered Belarusian airspace, which the aggressor nation used for attacks on Ukraine. The highest number of these incursions into Belarus occurred in November and December.

During 2024, nearly four hundred Russian kamikaze drones of the "Shahed" type entered Belarusian airspace, which the aggressor country used to carry out attacks on Ukraine. The highest number of such incursions into Belarus occurred in November and December.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the monitoring group "Belaruski Hayun".

According to the group's information, in 2024, there were 395 recorded entries of Russian drones into Belarus, which came from both Ukraine and the Russian Federation.

Out of this total, 5 units were identified as reconnaissance drones.

"Over the year, 10 confirmed cases of "Shahed" drones being shot down or crashing occurred in Belarus and Latvia, as well as 1 instance of a building being destroyed due to a drone's fall," reports "Hayun".

In the last month of the year, at least 145 Russian "Shaheds" entered Belarusian airspace on December 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, and 31.

It is also noted that in December, 36 drones returned from Belarus to Ukraine and Russia, while another 109 went missing.

As for the overall data for 2024, "Hayun" provides the following figures:

  • in July, 9 Russian drones entered Belarus,
  • in August - 12 drones,
  • in September - 29 drones,
  • in October - 49 drones,
  • in November - 151 drones,
  • in December - 145 drones.

Out of a total of 395 drones that entered Belarus last year, 196 returned to Ukraine and Russia, another 189 went missing, and 10 were shot down or crashed in Belarus and Latvia.

It was previously reported that "Shahed," which attacked Ukraine on the night of December 22, flew 170 km through Belarus.

According to the monitoring group "Hayun," on November 3, "Shaheds" entered Belarus while a helicopter with self-proclaimed President Alexander Lukashenko was in the sky.
